Charlotte & Nick – Classy Wedding in Buckinghamshire
I was hired as a second shooter for Charlotte and Nick’s wedding and was delighted to get the opportunity to be present for this pleasantly warm January day. The tenderness between the couple soon enchanted everyone around, filling the day with love and affection.
The day started quite cold and with some snow showers which provided a beautiful bright light for outside shots of lovely Chesham town, Buckinghamshire. As soon as the ceremony time approached, the sun magically came out to bless the couple and warm everyone’s hearts. The ceremony was a religious one, held in the historical Saint Mary’s Church which dates back to the 12th century.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to the reception venue. The married couple were whisked away in a classic Armstrong Siddeley whilst everyone else gleefully jumped aboard a vintage Routemaster bus. The wedding breakfast and party was held in Latimer Place, an impressive Victorian mansion located at the end of a picturesque tree-lined driveway. The decoration inside was stunning and, with the help of the toastmaster, all the events passed off nice and smoothly. The different rooms provided enough activities to keep everyone entertained and once the band started to play, no one wanted to leave the dance-floor. What a lovely bunch of happy people. I couldn’t have hoped for more fun on a working day!
